In the end, it wasn’t her choice that landed her in hospice care. Her body failed her. She was called home.
Responsibility
The way they decide to abuse me is not a reflection of who I am as a person. The way they choose to treat me is not my responsibility. The way they act is not my fault.
Hurt
You don’t have to hurt someone else to heal yourself. You don’t need to take your anger out on someone just to feel heard. You don’t need to invalidate someone’s feelings to make it seem like yours count.
Purpose
God has brought me literally to my knees, crying out of sorrow, repentance, joy, loneliness, comfort, anxiety, and trust. He has shown me time and again that He is all I need and that He will never leave me, even when it feels like I’m alone.
